  1. Oh my those pumpkins are awesome!
I can’t grow anything! My neighbour looks after my garden because I killed everything in it! I wish I could garden I would love to grow my own food!
And Halloween, something else we have in common! I got married on Halloween just so I could have a Halloween party for my wedding reception! 😆
    And thanks for the nomination.

  2. Congrats! Love the tidbits about you! My that was a huge pumpkin! I love to decorate but for Christmas mostly. I like Halloween and all things autumn, but not the scary stuff. Cat gif at the end made me laugh! Thanks for sharing yourself with us! 🙂

      1. I love all the seasons, but the month of September is like a new beginning for me. I guess that’s because it’s a new beginning for kids as well with school. Yes, I love when we find things that connect us! ♥

  3. Thanks so much for the awesome nomination. I love those pumpkins! And I love Halloween as well, though I don’t decorate to the extent that you do. Maybe it’s that I love witches and vampires and ghosts and all things Gothic. And your homemade pretzels look amazing, by the way.

    1. You’re so welcome, Vanessa! Thanks so much! I’m like you and love it all. It’s such a fun time of year! The pretzels were really good and it’s an easy recipe that I hope to share soon. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. ❤

  4. … UMMM YUMM!!! DID you seriously bake those goodies? OMG gimme gimme GIMME! I wish I had a backyard where I could grow my own herbs and veggies. One day, hopefully.
I loved all your answers here, as always! 🙂
And yes yes YES to decorating. I’m more of a Christmas decorator but I always enjoy the thrill of Halloween decor just the same! ❤ ❤

    1. Thanks, Delphine! We had fun baking that day. This is a super simple recipe that I’ll be sharing very soon! ❤ I hope you can start a garden soon. It's so rewarding, truly. I enjoy the fruit markets too though. We can't grow everything here. 😉

I LOVE Christmas too! This time of year gets me so excited! I just love all the fall and winter holidays. 😉 Glad you like decorating for Christmas too. It'll be here before you know it! Thanks for the share today!

  11. I LOVE your pumpkins and your garden in general! You have so much space, I’m jealous 😀 We are trying to grow most of our food as well and have a neat little veggie garden, but running out of space! Gotta move soon and then have space for more veg, trees & animals 😀

I am all for canned & pickled veg! 😀 I made spicy pickled radish the other day and it turned out very yummy!. It’s so much better if you know it’s your own grown food!

    1. Thanks so much! I’m trying to think of this book that I read about gardening in small spaces. I’ll try to think of the title and send you the link. It’s amazing how much you can grow in a small space and the book is awesome. ❤

I've never had spicy pickled radish! I do love radishes though. Will have to check into it. I agree homegrown is the best and so worth the hard work! We sort of took a break this year and didn't grow as much, but we're happy to have what we have. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!
