Wednesday’s Breakfast and a Book – Coconut Date Rolls – Pukka Womankind Tea – Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal

Hello, lovely friends! How is everyone doing this week? I’m feeling pretty good myself and trying to stay caught up here. I may be cutting down to one or two breakfast posts a month as spring is coming in and I have much to do outside. My reading has slowed, but I hope to keep up to at least a book a week for now.

This week I have a new recipe, new tea, and a new book to share!

Coconut Date Rolls

  • 2 cups of dates soaked in water for about 10-15 minutes
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (more for rolling)
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1 TB honey
  • 1 TB coconut oil

Drain the dates. All you do is add all the ingredients to your processor!

Process until it forms into a smooth ball.

Use a small cookie scoop to drop them into more coconut shavings. Coat them up until fully covered. You can also used chopped nuts in place of the coconut shavings.

Lay them out on a tray and dehydrate for about 5-6 hours at roughly 118 degrees. This is really personal preference.

These are so delicious when warm, right out of the dehydrator!

Pukka Womankind Tea

This is one of my favorite teas for any time of the day. I steeped this in a new Cozyna teapot I just purchased on Amazon I still hate you Amazon and I’m super pleased with it. You can see it below. It’s so easy to use and makes up to about five cups of tea.

This week’s book:

Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal

Summary: Anthony William, Medical Medium, has helped tens of thousands of people heal from ailments that have been misdiagnosed or ineffectively treated or that doctors can’t resolve. He’s done this by listening to a divine voice that literally speaks into his ear, telling him what lies at the root of people’s pain or illness, and what they need to do to restore their health. His methods achieve spectacular results, even for those who have spent years and many thousands of dollars on all forms of medicine before turning to him. Now, in this revolutionary book, he opens the door to all he has learned over his 25 years of bringing people’s lives back: a massive amount of healing information, much of which science won’t discover for decades and most of which has never appeared anywhere before.

Medical Medium reveals the root causes of diseases and conditions that medical communities either misunderstand or struggle to understand at all. It explores all-natural solutions for dozens of the illnesses that plague us, including Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome, hormonal imbalances, Hashimoto’s disease, multiple sclerosis, depression, neurological conditions, chronic inflammation, autoimmune disease, blood-sugar imbalances, colitis and other digestive disorders, and more. It also offers solutions for restoring the soul and spirit after illness has torn at our emotional fabric. Whether you’ve been given a diagnosis you don’t understand, or you have symptoms you don’t know how to name, or someone you love is sick, or you want to care for your own patients better, Medical Medium offers the answers you need. It’s also a guidebook for everyone seeking the secrets to living longer, healthier lives.

“The truth about the world, ourselves, life, purpose—it all comes down to healing,” Anthony William writes. “And the truth about healing is now in your hands.”

My Thoughts:

I had plans to read this later, but after reading Thyroid Healing and having such a huge response to the protocols in the book, I decided to go ahead and pick this one up to see what else Anthony William has to say about fighting disease. So far, I do see some repeated information, but there’s so much more here. I still can’t believe all that I’ve learned and wish so much that I would’ve had this information twelve years ago when most of my symptoms started.

I’m going to say that for all of you experiencing mystery symptoms and autoimmune diseases, this is the book you need to be reading. I was skeptical, but everything is working out for me thus far and I even though I have no idea what the future holds, symptoms are getting better and I’ve never felt more positive about it. These books are the best I’ve read on autoimmune disease and chronic illnesses.

Mmmmm might try these without the coconut shavings. So what do you do if you don’t have a dehydrator? Just leave them at room temp for a bit? That tea sounds super delicious and your teapot and teacups are so cute! 🙂 I’m glad Anthony William is bringing so much wisdom into your life and that you share it with us with great reviews like this one! 🙂 Hope your day continues to go really well! ❤

    1. You can totally use whatever you want on the outside! If you don’t have a dehydrator, you can just put them on warm in your oven. Depending on your temp, I’d check them every ten minutes or so. I just like mine warm with a little crust on the outside. It’s really personal preference. I really hope you try these because they are so good!

I know you would love this tea and I was hoping I included some in your package. You’ll have to let me know. The infuser has worked so well. I’m very happy with it.

❤ Hugs and you have a wonderful day yourself. 😀

    1. These are very delicious, Stephanie! If you ever pick up a book recommendation from me, pick up these. I’d be willing to bet they’ll change your life like they have mine. Even after beating Lupus, I never once thought that I had control over the Hashimoto’s, but we do!!! We have control! Let me know if you end up getting them. I hope you are feeling well. ❤ Hugs!

I miss those coconut date rolls for sure! I’m glad to see you’re going ahead with Anthony’s other book. Now you can tell me all about it when you finish it. I’m going to start his other one about healing foods soon. I agree with you about feeling better on the protocol. I do too. I truly believe in it and don’t think I’ll ever go backwards again now. Great post! Love the new tea pot! 🙂

Oh wow, I buy Coconut Date Rolls from the store. I love them. Now I know how to make them!! I love that teapot too!! I will be checking Amazon (I hate them too) for it!!

This book looks interesting to me. I have Fibromyalgia, and I’ve read and tried it all without much success. But I also have autoimmune problems too, the biggest being Rheumatoid Arthritis. If I could find some information on eating right to help the autoimmune problem, and keep the inflammation low, I would be psyched. I will definitely check out the book.

    Another great post!!!😊

    1. Donna, these are so easy! You can switch up the recipe too. I’ve even made then with dried figs and will do a post on that soon. So delicious!

I can’t say enough about these books and I’d be willing to bet they can help you! Sorry you’re dealing with RA. No fun. I can say I’ve read a ton of AI related self-help books and nothing comes close to these. That’s the truth. I hope you try them. There were many a-ha! moments for me! 💙💚💙

  5. LOL at the shade on Amazon. Sorry about your experience but they are almost a monopoly for online retailing so it’s one of those things you kind of have to grin and bear, I suppose.
Love the recipe and the idea for this post.

    1. Thanks, Renee! Oh my, these aren’t bad at all. Coconut is a healthy fat and no refined sugar either. Plant fat and plant sugars aren’t the same as refined, BTW. A few are a serving size and not the whole batch lol. 😉 Too bad they aren’t healthy enough for you! 🤣
