Wednesday’s Breakfast and a Book: Life-Changing Foods by Anthony Williams – Medical Medium – Fruit!

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing well today. I’m not reading any new books this week because I’m still finishing Happily by Chauncey Rogers, so I thought I’d share one that I’m rereading after making the decision to purchase. It’s Life-Changing Foods by Anthony William. ❤


In late 2016 I started reading Life-Changing Foods by Anthony Williams. I picked up the book instantly at my local library after seeing the cover and reading the summary. I read through the foods and recipes without paying much attention to the author’s story. It wasn’t until I read Thyroid Healing that I understood more about who the author was and where he was coming from as a medical medium. 


The book is full of recipes that some people might not find interesting due to their simplicity, but they’re truly healthy recipes for any time of the day. I did find new recipes that I’ve never tried before like this Spanish orange and olive salad. Isn’t it beautiful?


The book covers fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, and wild foods. It’s bursting with recipes and also contains sections regarding health fads and trends, and some foods that can make life difficult. Each food has a section of conditions included so you can easily see which foods can help the specific conditions and ailments you’re having at that time.


This morning I chose to just have a fruit plate after having my morning celery juice. I’ve been drinking celery juice since January 7th every morning as part of the Thyroid Healing protocol. I don’t eat for at least 15 minutes after.


I was reading about some different fruits last night which inspired my breakfast this morning.


So, this morning I chose to just have a basic fruit plate of fresh mango, blueberries, and a delicious pear.


  • Berries are full of antioxidants and great for the brain
  • Mangoes aid with stress and are wonderful for the skin
  • Pears are great for the pancreas and soothe the stomach

It’s so nice to eat a drama-free meal first thing in the morning as it sets the tone for the day. If you love your body, it will love you back!

    Yum! I need to start adding some pears in my diet. It’s been a really long time since I’ve had a pear. Are you going to try the orange and olive salad? Sounds like an interesting combo for sure and I wonder how they cut them so pretty like! I’ve actually had asian kale salad before though and its pretty okay for having kale, lol.

    1. I didn’t even know pears were good for digestion until I read this lol. I’m definitely going to try the orange and olive salad! I have my eye on it and I’ll let you know how it goes. Kale is surprisingly good in a salad, in fact, I’d rather have it in a salad than a smoothie really. ❤ Thanks for reading, Nel.

  2. I love fruit and vegetable salads! Sometimes Robin and I will have either or as our evening meal. Fruit is also a natural detox for the body. In the summer when the temps are so miserably hot, Robin eats fruits only for his lunch and my granddaughter loves a fruit parfait with yogurt and granola (she’s 6) you know I’m loving that :). Now I’m wanting some fruit!! haha

    Wow, your fruit salad looks very yummy! How did you get to eat it with the kids there. Lol. I bet Maddie had to have one too. I bought this book and just started reading it. I’m going to get the other 2 books too. They really are life changers. Of course, I give credit to you too Jen, afterall, you started it all! Nice post! 🙂
