TAG: Give Thanks For All The Great Reads!

I was tagged by Abbey@ThreeCatsandaGirl for this awesome, new tag that she recently created. I enjoyed reading her answers for this tag. She’s so creative! Please check out Abbey’s blog if you haven’t yet. Thanks for thinking of me Abbey!

Short and sweet rules:

  • Make sure to tag me as the creator (because I want to see everyone’s answers and make my TBR even longer…) Abbey @ Three Cats and a Girl
  • Make sure to tag the lovely blogger who tagged you (because they also love lengthening their TBR)
  • Give something that you are thankful for this year at the end of the post!
  • Tag as many or as few bloggers as you like.

You Turkey! ~ a book that made you laugh

I have to go with Abbey on this one and mention Jim Gaffigan’s books. I’ve read Food: A Love Story and Dad is Fat. Both of them are laugh-out-loud hilarious. I plan to see him live one of these days.

I’m Stuffed ~ a book that completely satisfied you

Picking one from this year, this one really hooked me and there wasn’t anything I didn’t love about it.

Pumpkin Pie ~ the book you are looking forward to reading next

I actually bought myself a special Penguin classics set this year to read over Christmas and I have to say that I can’t wait to get started! I’ve read a few of the volumes already and they’ll be duplicates, but I just fell in love with this boxed set which includes six classic Christmas volumes including A Christmas Carol which I try to read every year.

Go Team! ~ a book where you found yourself really cheering for a certain character

The Count of Monte Cristo of course. It’s one if my favorite revenge books and I’m always cheering on Edmond Dantès. This book is a tome, but so worth it.

Macy’s Day Parade ~ a book that’s always there waiting on the bookshelf to be read and you know you’ll get to it eventually

The Last Unicorn. I’ve had it for years and really need to get to it.

Traditions ~ a book you could/do reread every year because it’s so dang good

I love Jamie Mcguire’s books and I could read the ‘Beautiful’ series over and over again, specifically Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster.

I’m thankful for – a book that really helped you in life

I’m going to choose any and all books by Medical Medium Anthony William. Because he’s shared his knowledge in these books, I’m getting my health back to 100% and I’d recommend these books to anyone struggling with their health.

What am I thankful for?

So many things! I’m thankful for everything God has given me including my life, my family, kind and caring people, healthy food, clean water, everyone in this wonderful, supportive blogging community, and the list goes on and on. There’s so much to be thankful for! ❤

  1. Silly wordpress! I’m late replying because my notifications told me the post wasn’t here anymore, but I just found it in my reader. This is so fun, favorite M, and I love your answers for many reasons! One is that you reminded me of another favorite book of mine! The Last Unicorn! I just added a copy to my wishlist. Happy Thanksgiving, my friend! ♥️ xoxo

    1. It’s my fault actually lol! My posts haven’t been going into the reader and I’ve been having to contact wordpress about it. So it was posted twice. Sorry about that!

I’m so glad to hear that’s a favorite! Looking forward to it after seeing the movie a thousand times 😂.

Happy Thanksgiving, sweet friend. I hope you have a very happy day. ❤💚❤

  4. Jim Gaffigan is awesome. I find it impossible to be in a bad mood if I have one of his comedy specials on. lol I still haven’t read Food: A Love Story, but I did enjoy Dad is Fat. And I agree, seeing him live would be great. 🙂
The Last Unicorn is such a lovely, whimsical read. ❤ I hope you enjoy it when you do get to reading it.
