I originally found this Christmas reading challenge @CarlaLovestoRead, and then again @SusanLovesBooks. The challenge is being hosted by TeaandCakefortheSoul.
Why not join in? I love reading Christmas books and never seem to get as many Christmas reads in that I’d like to during the season. Although you don’t have to read strictly Christmas reads, it’s what I’ve chosen to do.
HOW CAN YOU JOIN IN WITH THE CHRISTMAS READING CHALLENGE?
* Choose 20, or 15 or 10 books that you’d like to read.
* Take a photo or make a list of those books.
* If you’re a blogger, make a quick introductory post telling us what you are going to read.
* Of course, you can join in on social media instead.
* Comment below with a link to your post so we can all see what’ you’ve chosen, and link back to this post so I can see who else is joining in.
* Now, just enjoy reading.
* Tag me on Twitter @littlejojackson and I will retweet your introductory and round-up posts
* It’s up to you whether you review as you go along, or do one long round-up post at the end or halfway through. Don’t forget to leave reviews on Amazon, Good Reads and other online stores to show support for the authors.
I decided not to go overboard because I’m still working on the Retelling Reading Challenge. Because of that, I’m going to choose ten books for now.
Here’s my list of (10) books I’d like to read for the 20 Books of Christmas Reading Challenge:
25 Days ’til Christmas
by Poppy Alexander
Letters from Father Christmas
by J.R.R Tolkien
Spirit of the Season
By Fern Michael’s
Christmas in Winter Hill

You have some on your list that look so good. I did not know that Tolkien wrote a Christmas story. I really enjoyed the History of the Snowman. I learned a lot and really enjoyed all the images. I hope you enjoy all your Christmas reads and welcome to the challenge, Jen.

I remember your review for the snowman book and bought it last year. Lol! We ended up skimming it last year, but I’ll fully read it this year.
Looking forward to the challenge. You too! 😁❤

I always enjoy Christmas reading (and Christmas movies). I turn into a sap for the entire month of December, LOL.
It’s sounds like a fun challenge. I’m undertaking NaNoWriMo in November, however, and that’s going to mean less reading for me. I am, however, cheering you on!

I’ve pretty much given up trying to do “group” activities that are book related online. I always get pissed off at someone participating and write something or can’t put up with someone else’s stupidity and before you know it, there are either explosions or frigid silence.
Therefore I hope you have extra fun, to make up for me 😀

😂 Lol…I hear you. Well, with this one we pick our own books and there isn’t much participation so, I don’t think there will be any of that. Thanks!

Looks like you’ve some excellent Christmas rreads on your list, but I’m already thinking I’ve over-goaled myself with Goodreads. Gotta reset that one, however, you’ve given me a few great choices there.

I totally understand that. I don’t want to go over either and maybe already have. The challenge on GR for me is about complete, mainly because I read children’s books too. 😂 Hope you enjoy all your reads!

My problem is that I don’t have that many winter books to read! I’ve got a pile of suspenseful ones I’m working on….as slow as molasses, but still 😅
