Mountain Mint and Zinnias
I don’t have anything spectacular to share today, but here are a few fall pictures of the mountain mint and the last zinnias.
Orange King
The majority of the butterflies we had this year were swallowtails. We didn’t see scads of monarchs. Hopefully next year we’ll have more. Here’s a swallowtail on the mountain mint.
If you’d like to learn more about mountain mint, you can click the link above in the 2019 share’s section.
Thanks for checking out Flower Friday! Have a wonderful weekend!

Those zinnias are gorgeous. I had a lot of monarchs this year on my butterfly bushes. I do not get swallowtails, but they are pretty.

I’m so happy to hear you had lots of monarchs. We had some, but just as many as usual. 😉

I seem to be getting more each year, since we planted them.

These are all so pretty, M. I’m trying to remember if I saw any monarchs last summer and I am thinking I didn’t. One of my camellias already bloomed with this wacky weather. They are supposed to bloom in January or February! Happy weekend!

Aw, they’ve been in decline, but I thought the numbers were getting better again. Maybe next year. That’s a really early bloom! 😁

Your pics are always so awesome to see. I think the worst part of winter is losing the flowers and butterflies. But then, there are many other beautiful things about winter also.
Nice post Jen! 🦋

My grandmother used to grow zinnias every summer, but I don’t think I’ve ever tried them. Maybe next summer?

They’re about the easiest flower, Teri. Good for hot and dry weather too. So easy to grow from seed!
