Flower Friday: Mountain Mint, Swallowtail, and Zinnias #FlowerFriday #Swallowtail #Flowers #Zinnias #MountainMint

I discovered Flower Friday while visiting Lorilin@Bugbugbooks and decided to begin sharing some flower pictures from our gardens along with some information about them. Please check out Lorilin’s blog if you haven’t already for book reviews and more!

Last time I shared Camphorweed (Heterotheca subaxillaris)

Here are other 2019 shares:

Today’s share:

Mountain Mint and Zinnias

I don’t have anything spectacular to share today, but here are a few fall pictures of the mountain mint and the last zinnias.

The majority of the butterflies we had this year were swallowtails. We didn’t see scads of monarchs. Hopefully next year we’ll have more. Here’s a swallowtail on the mountain mint.

Your pics are always so awesome to see. I think the worst part of winter is losing the flowers and butterflies. But then, there are many other beautiful things about winter also.
    Nice post Jen! 🦋
