I’m coming back!

Hey, guys! How’s everyone been doing? It’s been a long time, but I’ve decided to come back to the blog and give it another go. It’s something that I’ve missed a lot, which I didn’t really expect, and I’d like to try again and figure out a way to balance everything out better than I did before. Posts won’t be as frequent but hopefully at least a few times a week for now. We’ll see how it goes.

I hope you’ve all been doing okay. I’ve been browsing through all the beautiful posts and can’t wait to interact with you all again. I’ve missed you all. Now, if I can just figure out this block editor!

        1. Aw! How sweet! I’m glad to hear you’re all doing well. I’ve still been seeing your reviews on GR and have many books to catch up on. We’re always looking for good children’s reads too. I have many to share from this past year. 😉

    1. I can totally understand. It’s horrible! I was able to find where you can use the classic editor and couldn’t be more happy about it. 😆 I just don’t see how the block editor could ever be better.

    1. Thanks! I worked with it this morning and it about drove me mad on my phone. On the computer it isn’t as bad though. It’s just getting used to it that’s going to take some time. Glad you love it! ❤️

      1. Oh, I could definitely see where it would drive you crazy on the phone! Even on a tablet, I can only produce the simplest of things. I know that at the beginning I wasn’t crazy about it, but I’ve gotten used to it and appreciate the flexibility.

  22. Yay! Welcome back. Worry not about the block editor. I have used it for three months now and still trying to figure it out. Use the Classic Editor though, its more like than the older one. Anyway, you’ll figure it out. All the best with everything.

  27. Hurray, you’re back! I haven’t read anyone else’s comments, so I might be repeating 🙂

    The best way to learn and accept the damned block editor is to just use it and nothing else. No cheating, no saving a draft and using the old editor. Go cold turkey. Took me a month last year but now, I’ve come to accept it, even if I don’t like it 😦

    And I hope you can find a good balance so you don’t feel pressured to blog but instead want to. Do what works for you 😀

    1. Thank you! Yes, I worked with it yesterday and found that the big problem was trying to post from my phone. The computer isn’t bad at all. Doing it on the phone seems to take some of the options away, and it was so frustrating! So, I hope over time it’ll grow on me like it seems to have grown on everyone else. It’s good to be back. Just really missed you guys! 😉

        1. I’ve tried both. So, before I left, the block editor was just getting started. I was still using the old editor, but I was able to post from the mobile page on my phone. The app was always a disaster because some of the features weren’t available. Same this time around. I’m able to start out the post, but to fine tune it, I have to go to my computer. The computer seems to be the way to go. I’ll stick with that for now. Thanks for your thoughts on it. 👍

      1. Yeah there are some differences with the classic editor but for the most part things are the same who is so much easier than the new editor in my opinion. I do my blogging on my computer I only use my phone to add pictures. Thank you I am doing really well.
