Screaming Neon Red Rose

As I mentioned last week, we just planted a few new roses in a newly landscaped area in our backyard. This new area is now complete. We ended up planting this one along with the Oscar Peterson Rose, and they complement each other perfectly.

These roses are so unique with ruffly, wave-like flowers. The deep neon red color is heavenly and reminds me of a brilliant candy apple red—one of my favorites. The color puts me in a trance! I can’t take my eyes off of it. I love all the roses we have, but this one is now my favorite.

Like the Oscar Peterson Rose, these have a yellow center, and the neon red flowers complement the dark foliage beautifully.

There are tons of blooms already. These appear to be super easy to care for too. I didn’t even realize that these are a disease-resistant variety. Easy Elegance roses are the best. I’m not affiliated with this company in any way; I just can’t recommend their roses enough. The varieties are amazing. You can view them on their website.

Here’s a photo of the tag if you’d like to locate one for yourself.

Again, these aren’t cheap, but for something that comes back every year and blooms all summer into the fall, it’s worth the investment.

Thanks for checking out Flower Friday! What do you have blooming this week? Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. You were right- I do love them! 😍 I also need to check out this brand. Even with using the Bayer you told me about in the past (which has really helped a lot), we are still having a little trouble with some of our roses. Love the color! Love the open flowers!

    1. I’m so glad you love them too, Jen. Isn’t the color amazing? We used the Bayer today for the first time. A few developed black spot a couple days ago, so it may be one of those years. Sorry to hear you’re still having some issues! Maybe you might be able to seek out some information on flower forums?

Thanks, Jen, and good luck. ❤️

  2. Wow, how gorgeous the flowers are! And I liked the contrast between the yellow center and the bright red! It’s a bit different from what I imagine as roses, but they are beautiful nonetheless!!

    1. They are different, aren’t they? I fell in love when it started blooming and had no idea how rich the color would be. They were worth every penny spent! Hope you’re doing well. ❤️ Thank you.

There are so many new roses making their way into the market it seems. This one was well worth the expenditure and is soooooo enjoyable. The blooms are so hardy and last for a long period of time.
We’ll have to keep tabs on this company. I love roses of all kinds! 🙂

  6. These are beautiful flowers. They are different from the typical rose, I wouldn’t have thought that was what they were. Definitely a good investment for the amount of blooms you get and the length of time they bloom.
